The Restoration Project at Christ Church Cathedral in June 2005 was a spectacular success. Hundreds of people came out for our pay-what-you-can staged readings of three Restoration comedies: The Way of the World directed by James Fagan Tait; The Rivals directed by Bill Millerd; School for Scandal directed by Kathryn Shaw.

The event was masterminded by Theatre Cares committee member Allan Morgan, with help from Laara Sadiq. Fabulous Restoration wigs were created by the actors with the help of Melody Anderson, and the readings were stage managed by Chris Allan, Peter Jotkus and Kris Nelson

Our stellar cast included Patti Allan, Peter Anderson, Toby Berner, David Bloom, Joy Coghill, Ted Cole, Kerry Davidson, Josh Drebit, Noah Drew, Kathleen Duborg, Lesley Ewen, Jillian Fargey, Allan Gray, Colin Heath, Doug Herbert, David Hudgins, Terence Kelly, Jacques Lalonde, Andrew McNee, Kevin McNulty, Kelly Metzger, Stephen E. Miller, Allan Morgan, John Paterson, Suzie Payne, Melissa Poll, Sarah Rodgers, Laara Sadiq, Nathan Schwartz, Donna Soares, Mike Stack, Courtenay Stevens, Richard Strachan, Jonathan Sutton, Lee Vincent, Lisa Waines, Mike Wasco, and Katey Wright.

And a good time was had by all!
